Overview

How Dermapen works

Dermapen is a medical-grade microneedling pen. Its very fine needles create thousands of tiny, controlled micro-channels in the outer and deeper layers of the skin. Your skin responds by producing new collagen and elastin, gradually improving its texture, firmness and tone.

The micro-channels also help serums absorb more deeply, which is why microneedling works so well with exosomes. We finish every treatment with a soothing mask to calm the skin and reduce redness.

What it can help with

  • Acne scarring and uneven texture
  • Enlarged pores
  • Fine lines and early signs of ageing
  • Dull, tired-looking skin
  • Mild pigmentation and uneven tone

FAQs

Your questions answered

Is microneedling the same as Dermapen?

Dermapen is a brand of microneedling pen, and many people use the two names for the same treatment. At LÀVIÉL we perform microneedling with a Dermapen.

Does it hurt?

We apply numbing cream first, so most people feel only light scratching or vibration.

Should I add exosomes?

Exosomes are our bestseller. The micro-channels let the exosome serum absorb deeply, supporting faster recovery and stronger results. Many clients choose it for scarring, dull skin or a special occasion.

When will I see results?

Skin often looks fresher within a week. Collagen builds gradually, so the best results show around 4 to 6 weeks after a session and improve over the course.

How is it different from RF needling?

Microneedling uses needles alone. RF needling adds radiofrequency heat for more tightening, and suits deeper scarring and laxity.
